METAMORPHOSIS

From infancy to childhood, adolescence to adulthood, we navigate a series of shifts, both externally and internally. Inspired by Amy Beager's artistry, I embarked on an exploration of metamorphosis, specifically its psychological dimension. I sought to encapsulate the multifaceted nature of our personal transformations by including multiple faces in my artwork, symbolizing the emergence of different facets of our selves over time. Influenced by Grecian art, I aimed to establish a visual interconnectedness in which the faces and figures seamlessly blend with the background, representing how our different facets are all connected.
